Sample Itinerary: 8 Days | 6 nights

Day 1 – USA / MADRID

The journey to Spain begins by boarding an international flight across the Atlantic to Madrid, the capital and largest city. Meals and snacks will be served on the plane.


Upon arrival in Madrid, you will be greeted by the friendly Perform International representatives. You will begin your time in Spain with a journey to the central city of Toledo. Toledo is known as the “City of Three Cultures” referring to the cultural heritages of the Christians, Jews and Muslims living there. Overnight in Toledo.


On your first morning in Toledo you will enjoy a half-day city tour. Among the landmarks you may see will be the Old City with its 150 degree view, the Alcázar, the cathedral and the Zocodover, a central market place. You will enjoy visiting the Church of Santo Tomé with a Mudéjar tower that was built in the 14th century. The interior of the church is home to the artist El Greco’s most famous painting, the Burial of the Count of Orgaz. In the afternoon you will travel to Seville. Overnight in Seville.


On this first morning in Seville you will get to visit the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See, better known as the Seville Cathedral. It is the largest Gothic cathedral and the 3rd largest church in the world. It is best known as the burial place of Christopher Columbus. The Cathedral has fifteen doors on its four facades and visitors will enjoy exploring all of them, including the Door of Baptism, the Door of Assumption and the Door of the Conception. In the evening your group will perform a concert. Overnight in Seville.


A journey to Granada is on the itinerary for this day. Granada is located at the foot of the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains and is only one hour from the Mediterranean coast. You will get to visit the Alhambra, a Moorish citadel and Palace. It represents the cultural beginnings of the Islamic heritage in Granada. Other sites that you may see in Granada are the Generalife, the Cathedral of Granada, and the Royal Chapel of Granada. Overnight in Granada.


On this day you will leave Granada and travel back to Madrid. In the afternoon you will have a panoramic tour of this artistic and historic city. Among the sites you may see in Madrid are the Museum of Outdoor Sculpture, the Paseo del Prado, the Golden Triangle of Art, Liria Palace, and Matadero Madrid. Overnight in Madrid.

Day 7 – MADRID

On this first morning in Madrid you will have a half-day city tour which will include a visit to the Royal Palace. The Palace is the official home of Juan Carlos I but it is mostly used for official events. You will enjoy seeing the luxurious rooms and collections of art, armor and weapons as well as everyday items like pharmaceuticals and silverware. It also houses the most comprehensive collection of Stradivarius violins in the world. In the evening your group will perform a concert. Overnight in Madrid.


After breakfast you will go to the airport to begin your journey back to the USA. You will take with you lifelong memories of exploring and performing in Spain, sharing your own culture and encountering the rich artistic culture of this beautiful country.
