Sample Itinerary: 9 Days | 7 nights

Day 1 – USA / ROME

The journey to Italy begins by boarding an international flight across the Atlantic to Rome, the capital and largest city in Italy. Meals and snacks will be served on the plane.

Day 2 – ROME

On arrival in Rome, you will be greeted by the friendly Perform International representatives and embark on a panoramic tour of this beautiful city. Among many sights, you will see the Trevi Fountain, the largest Baroque fountain in Rome. You will also see the 2,000 year old Pantheon, one of Rome’s most iconic sights featuring the largest unreinforced concrete dome ever built. Following your tour, the Perform International representatives will escort you to your hotel. Overnight in Rome.

Day 3 – ROME

This day features a half-day guided tour of the Vatican. The Vatican Museum features an immense collection of some of the most renowned classical sculptures and most important masterpieces of Renaissance art in the world. The Sistine Chapel is known for its architecture and frescoes by Renaissance artists, including Michelangelo who painted the chapel ceiling. You will get to participate in Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, the most renowned example of Renaissance architecture. In the evening, your group will perform in concert. Overnight in Rome.

Day 4 – ROME

Your guided tour of Rome continues on this morning with a visit to the Coliseum and the Roman Forum. The Coliseum is best known as the sight of Rome’s violent games from AD 80 until the 6th century. The Roman Forum is a rectangular plaza in the center of Rome surrounded by the ruins of ancient government buildings. In the afternoon, you can explore the city on your own or just relax in your hotel. For dinner, you will enjoy a traditional Italian meal in one of Rome’s wonderful restaurants. Overnight in Rome.


This morning you will travel a few hours to Florence. Along your journey, you will stop in Orvieto to visit the Cathedral. This 14th century cathedral contains elements of design from the 14th to 20th centuries and frescoes by well known artists. You will travel on to Florence, the beautiful capital of the region of Tuscany. Florence is considered to be the birthplace of the Renaissance. Overnight in Florence.


On this day you will enjoy a guided tour of Florence. You will visit to the Galleria dell Accademia which is the home of Michelangelo’s sculpture David. You will also get to see the Florence Duomo, known locally as the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore. It is one of the largest churches in Italy and contains the largest brick dome ever constructed. In the evening, your group will perform in concert. Overnight in Florence.


Today you will journey from Florence to Venice. Your group will have the option to stop in Pisa or in Cremona. A stop in Pisa includes its most iconic structure – the Leaning Tower. The Leaning Tower is the freestanding bell tower of the cathedral. You will have some leisure time to explore the other historical sites in Pisa. Your group may choose the option to stop in Cremona to visit the famous Stradivari Violin Museum. The Museum displays many artifacts from the Cremonese school of violin makers as well as items from Stradivari’s workshop. When you arrive in Venice, you will be enchanted by this city of 118 small islands separated by canals and linked by bridges. Overnight in Venice.

Day 8 – VENICE

Today you will enjoy a guided tour of Venice. Stops will include a visit to Doge’s Palace, a palace built in Venetian Gothic style. You will also have an opportunity to visit St. Mark’s Basilica. St. Mark’s is one of the best known examples of Byzantine architecture and is connected to Doge’s Palace. In the evening, your group will perform in concert. Overnight in Venice.


On this last day in Italy, you will board a flight in either Venice or Milan to return to the USA. You will take with you lifelong memories of exploring and performing in Italy, sharing your own culture and encountering the rich artistic culture of this beautiful country.
