Sample Itinerary: 8 Days | 6 nights

Day 1 – USA / PARIS

The journey to France begins by boarding an international flight across the Atlantic to Paris, the capital and most populous city. Meals and snacks will be served on the plane.


Upon arrival in Paris, you will be greeted by the friendly Perform International representatives. You will begin your time in France with a journey to Caen. On the way, you will stop at the famous Rouen Cathedral, a Roman Catholic Gothic cathedral in Rouen, in northwestern France. The Cathedral has had a rich musical heritage since the Middle Ages. Its choir was famous up to the French Revolution for singing from memory. You will end the day in Caen, a city known for its historical buildings built during the reign of William the Conqueror. Overnight in Caen.

Day 3 – CAEN

On this morning you will visit the Normandy American Cemetery and World War II Memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer, Normandy. The cemetery honors the 9,387 American soldiers who died in Europe during WWII and is located on a bluff overlooking Omaha Beach and the English Channel. You will also visit the Point du Hoc Ranger Memorial. This memorial was erected by the French to honor the heroic efforts of an American Ranger unit during the war. In the evening, your group will perform in concert. Overnight in Caen.

Day 4 – CAEN

An excursion to the fascinating town of Mont Saint Michel is planned for this day. Mont Saint Michel is an island ½ mile off the coast of France that is accessible during low tide. You will visit the Mont Saint Michel Abbey, protected as a French historic monument since 1862. The abbey is an essential part of the feudal structural composition of the town with the abbey and monastery on top of the island representing God. Overnight in Caen.


You will journey to Paris today with a stop at the Chartres Cathedral, a medieval Roman Rite Catholic cathedral located in Chartres. The cathedral houses the Sancta Camisa, said to be the tunic worn by the Virgin Mary at Christ’s birth, and is considered to be one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture outside of Paris. The cathedral has been carefully preserved with most of the original stained glass windows intact. Your group will perform a recital at the cathedral and then travel on to Paris, the City of Lights. Overnight in Paris.

Day 6 – PARIS

On this first morning in Paris, you will take a panoramic tour of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. You will see the iconic sights of Paris including the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the artistic Left Bank neighborhoods and the Seine River. You will visit Notre Dame, a historic Roman Rite Catholic Marian cathedral. Notre Dame is known for its French Gothic architecture and is among the largest and most well-known church buildings in the world. In the evening, your group will perform in concert. Overnight in Paris.

Day 7 – PARIS

A visit to the Louvre is planned for this day. The Louvre is one of the largest art museums in the world and is located on the Right Bank of the Seine. It houses 35,000 objects from prehistory to the 21st century. The Louvre is housed in the Louvre Palace which began as a fortress built in the late 12th century under Philip II. The Louvre is home to many famous pieces of art including the Mona Lisa. In the evening, your group will enjoy a farewell dinner. Overnight in Paris.


After breakfast you will go to the airport to begin your journey back to the USA. You will take with you lifelong memories of exploring and performing in France, sharing your own culture and encountering the rich artistic culture of this beautiful country.
