Sample Itinerary: 9 Days | 7 nights

Day 1 – USA / MUNICH

The journey to Europe begins by boarding an international flight across the Atlantic to Munich, Germany. Meals and snacks will be served on the plane.


On arrival in Munich, you will be greeted by the friendly Perform International representatives and embark on a panoramic tour of the city. Munich is located about 30 miles north of the northern edge of the majestic Alps and is known as a major European cultural center. The city is filled with historic sites and museums including the National Theater in Max-Joseph-Platz with its gargoyles. If time permits, you may see the Dachau Concentration Camp, one of the first concentration camps opened in Germany. In the afternoon you will travel to Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart. Overnight in Salzburg.


On this morning, you will take a guided city tour that will include a visit to Mozart’s birthplace. Salzburg’s beautiful city center is renowned for its baroque architecture and is considered one of the best-preserved city centers north of the Alps. Hohensalzburg Castle or Salzburg Fortress, which overlooks the Old Town, is one of the largest castles in Europe. You will get to ride a cable car to the top of Festungsberg Mountain to explore the Salzburg Fortress and enjoy the bird’s eye view of Salzburg. In the evening your group will perform a concert. Overnight in Salzburg.


Traveling from Salzburg to Vienna, you will make a stop in Melk on this day. Melk sits along the Danube River and is best known as the home of Melk Abbey, a Benedictine Monastery. You will get to explore the Abbey, one of the most famous monastic sites. Your group will perform a short recital while there. From Melk, you will continue your journey to Vienna, the City of Music. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 5 – VIENNA

On this morning after breakfast a guided tour of Vienna will take you to the Schönbrunn Palace. Also known as Schloss Schönbrunn, this massive, 1,441-room imperial palace was designed to rival Versailles by Queen Maria Theresa’s architect Nicholas Pacassi. It was finished in 1749 and features, besides the palace, beautiful gardens and other attractions like the Roman ruins. Schönbrunn is Vienna’s most popular tourist attraction and is visited by millions every year. In the evening, your group will perform in concert. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 6 – VIENNA

You will continue your guided tour of Vienna after breakfast with a visit to the House of Music, the first museum of sound and music in Austria. It is located in the Palace of Archduke Charles, where Otto Nicolai, founder of the Vienna Philharmonic, lived 150 years ago. Music is one of Vienna’s great legacies and treasures. Musical prodigies including Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Schubert, Johannes Brahms, Gustav Mahler and Arnold Schoenberg have all worked in Vienna. Overnight in Vienna.


On this day, you will travel to Prague. Before leaving Vienna, you will visit the Vienna Central Cemetery to visit the tombs of famous composers. To increase use of the cemetery, city leaders expressed gratitude to composers by granting them monumental tombs. After traveling a few hours through the Austrian and Czech countryside you will arrive in Prague, a city that is rich in European history and culture. You will enjoy a traditional Czech dinner at one of Prague’s wonderful restaurants. Overnight in Prague.

Day 8 – PRAGUE

Following breakfast, you will have a guided tour of Prague. You will visit Prague Castle, the largest ancient castle in the world. Originally housing the offices of heads of state, today it is home to several museums, including the National Gallery collection of Bohemian baroque and mannerism art, exhibition dedicated to Czech history, the Toy Museum and the picture gallery of Prague Castle. While in the Castle, you will also visit St. Vitus Basilica. It is the largest church in the country and is an excellent example of Gothic architecture. In the evening, your group will perform in concert. Overnight in Prague.


After breakfast you will go to Prague’s Václav Havel Airport to begin your journey back to the USA. You will take with you lifelong memories of exploring and performing in Europe, sharing your own culture and encountering the rich artistic culture of these beautiful countries.
